"...a small masterpiece..."

"...there appears to be many hours of play in it even without using the editor. Personally I think it is excellent...the direction buttons are very responsive..."

"Wow, bought it and must say, it has its attraction and is really tricky...you can play it occasionally or some hours at once"

Gopher 2 Black & White Version (B&W) is an arcade style game where you direct Carl, a little Gopher through deep underground caves on its way to the exit. Unfortunately they are only open if Carl collects enough golden Carrots on his way.

Watch out for the time running out while solving the puzzles. And dont get stuck or killed by falling stones, although those arent the worst things you have to worry about. In some Caves Ghosts will cross your path and they are deadly if touched.

The graphics are very old fashioned because Gopher 2 B&W is some kind of a remake of an old game I played over twenty years ago and I wanted to maintain the old charm of it as much as possible.

This Gopher 2 B&W Version includes game play elements from Boulder Dash(R), which is a registered trademark of First Star Software, Inc. Copyright (C) 1984, 2009 First Star Software, Inc. All rights reserved.

The game is published with permission from First Star Software, Inc.

To celebrate the world wide release of Gopher 2, its first Part will be a retrospective to the original game Gopher. This Black & White Version will show you how the game is like. If you want to play it in colour please try the full Gopher 2 Part 1.

FEATURES of the Black & White Version:

- 4 Levels (from over 230 Levels of Gopher 2 Part 1 - Retrospective)

- test the Cave Editor(C) coming with Gopher 2 allowing you to create your own cave packs (only one Cave can be build in this Version)

- automatic Save Game mechanism

- Cave replay without Save Game changes

You can use multitouch to direct Carl by pressing on the arrow buttons (best played with both thumbs) or with one finger swiping from one button to another.
